Known for their 140-year heritage in home cleaning, from carpet sweepers to vacuum cleaners and floor polishers, British brand Ewbank has launched its first outdoor cleaning appliance in the form of the AQUAROVER140 pressure washer.

Traditional corded pressure washers provide excellent cleaning performance, but can be large, heavy and difficult to move. Cordless pressure washers offer users the freedom to move about whilst cleaning, however they have a limited run time and require frequent charging.

Ewbank’s AQUAROVER140 can achieve both high performance and versatility. Operating either on its 4 wheels for easy pull-along manoeuvrability, or on 2 wheels in the upright position like a traditional model, its convenient 5-metre power cord and 5-metre hose provide ample scope to clean even when stationary.

With its impressive 140 bar pressure rating and 7.8 litres/minute maximum flow rate, Ewbank’s exciting first foray into the world of outdoor cleaning gives time and autonomy back to the user.

Pressure washers remain popular year on year to help clean the garden after winter ready for the first spring barbecues, as well as numerous other year-round uses. They belong to a continually expanding market boosted by the effects of lockdowns, expected to grow at an annual rate of over 4.3% during the period 2021−2026 to reach almost £4 billion.

Key factors that are driving the market growth include growing demand for cleaning applications such as car washing, pool cleaning and exterior cleaning, combined with a shift in consumer preferences towards pressure washing over traditional methods, according to a study by Grand View Research.
